I like the flexibility of being able to pick and choose learning components to use across various courses. For example, I use pieces from Calculus to develop average rate of change between points in Algebra 2 and Precalculus, setting the stage for the notion of "limit" and "instantaneous rate of change." Also, there are algebraic derivations in numerous Geometry topics that are powerful as review and reinforcement in Algebra 2.
